ACI Singapore - The Financial Markets Association
Forex Singapore is affiliated to ACI - The Financial Markets Association, the global umbrella body of national forex associations.


ASEAN Bankers' Association (ABA)

The Association was founded in 1976 by five ASEAN national banking associations. Today, membership has grown to include nine ASEAN national banking associations, providing a forum for bankers within ASEAN to discuss issues of mutual interest and foster increased integration of banking operations to reflect the trend towards greater globalisation.

General Insurance Association of Singapore (GIA)

General Insurance Association of Singapore was set up in 1965 to represent companies providing non-life insurance services.


Investment Management Association of Singapore (IMAS)
The association was set up in 1997 and is a representative body of investment managers spearheading the development and growth of the industry in Singapore.


Life Insurance Association of Singapore
The association's mission is to promote growth and development of the Singapore life insurance industry and protect the mutual interests of life insurers and policyholders. Membership of LIA is not compulsory for a life insurer's licence.

Singapore Exchange (SGX)
The Stock Exchange of Singapore (SES) and the Singapore International Monetary Singapore Exchange (SIMEX) were merged and launched on Dec 1, 1999 as Singapore Exchange, the first demutualised, integrated securities and derivatives exchange in the Asia-Pacific. The new entity combines the strengths of SES and SIMEX to offer comprehensive solutions for its users, thus supporting the continued growth of Singapore as a leading international financial centre.


Singapore Investment Banking Association (SIBA)
Singapore Investment Banking Association was set up in 1975 and currently represents the interests of member banks in Singapore, including global investment banks not operating under merchant banking licenses in Singapore.


The Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation (SDIC)
The Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation (SDIC) administers the Deposit Insurance Scheme in Singapore (Scheme). SDIC is a company limited by guarantee under the Companies Act. The board of directors is accountable to the Minister in charge of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). The main functions of SDIC are to collect premium contributions from Scheme members, manage the Deposit Insurance Fund, compensate insured depositors and educate the public on the Scheme.
